Caching & Riding

I biked up to Jackson & Fletcher Parkway to look for a new geocache that popped up yesterday. I found it, and I was fourth-to-find. Not surprising, since the cache has the wrong coordinates posted on the cache page (Correct coordinates are in the EXTENSIVE Notes posted in the logs from concerned cachers. ) and are a half-mile off, in the middle of a golf course. Glad I didn't look for it there! Don't know why the cache owner doesn't correct the coordinates on the cache page, it is easy enough to do. Maybe because it will then be too close (There IS a distance-from requirement!) to two other caches?

Saw this truck nearby, thought it was some kind of fancy low-rider with a hydraulic bendy-bed, then I noticed the front tire. I think the frame is broken!

Looped by Grossmont Center on the way home, getting passed WAY TO CLOSE by several cars. Some people are way too poopy on a Sunday morning! I even had the strobe on, so they certainly saw me on the road. I gotta put the flag on the bike, sticking out three feet to the left. And take the lane more!

Back in the 'hood I saw some new graffito that brought a little chuckle.

Another five miles brings me to 65.02 miles for the week. The odometer is 11,311 miles, about 200 short of the vehicle. I need to bike more!
