Thursday, Oh Joyous Thursday!

After  a layoff of two days from riding the bike, due to the dentist and grocery shopping, I finally rode yesterday and today.  So far I have just over twenty miles commuting this week!

I keep forgetting I have a temporary crown in place, and so keep biting and chewing on stuff and sides I shouldn't.

I came home yesterday and thought my Motorcycle Fairy Godmother had left me a present:


Alas, the green machine was not for me!

My interest in reading Becoming George Sand, by Rosalind Brackenbury, has waned a bit since I figured out that George Sand is not the same person as George Eliot.. I've never read anything by George Sand. I AT LEAST have read Silas Marner by George Eliot.

Octoberfest this weekend. Probably won't go THIS year, either.
