I managed to lose my Sharpie (my NEW Sharpie!) pen SOMEWHERE on the return trip, so I couldn't sign the last three caches I found. I even rode a MILE back to look for it, to the last cache I used it at, but no luck! What is up with that?
The last cache I found was not on the 52, but on Prospect. I didn't even have it loaded into the GPSr, but sort of guessed/remembered from looking at the geocache map. I spotted it pretty much right off, and it was EXTREMELY cute. But, no pen, so no signing the log, so no cache find.
My knee was kind of bothering me as I was laboring up the Fanita grade towards Grossmont College, so I stopped. More than once. I saw this guy trimming a tree right level with me.
Today I find the some tree-trimmers in MY yard, working on the palm tree. Nice of the management to let me know they would be there.
Got home around 10:30 A.M. Mileage for the day was 28.6 miles. I went to bed as soon as I showered and slept pretty much the rest of the morning/afternoon.

What is it with lost Sharpies? Is it the same kind of phenomenon as losing socks in the dryer?
