Bike To Work Day 2009

I was just having a discussion about school cliques back in the day. The surfers and the soches (sp?), and the one we're discussing, the "essays", or, as I think of them, the "SAs." Which is correct? I'm told they were called the essays because they were smart and did their school work. I thought they were the bad kids, dressed in leather boots and such. And the "S" would be the s-word, and the "A" would be the a-word.

And now, I'm recalling a type of shoe called SAs. Or maybe I'm hallucinating.

And the Google seems to be of no help!

At any rate...

I rode the bike to work for Bike To Work Day.

I attempted to photograph everyone I saw riding today. I only saw four riders, and I only got two photos, and they both stink.

That blob of blue is a cyclist who just illegally crossed the street.



These blobs of yellow are actually one cyclist.



I saw this interesting vehicle in parking lot. To be truthful, I saw this interesting vehicle months ago, but only today took its picture.




I took a picture of ME in a conveniently propped mirror, to commemorate a successful Bike To Work.



I found these sunglasses, left behind by a patron. Before putting them in Lost & Found, I struck a pose. Or two.



Today was Retro Day at work. I need me a retro-scooter to go with these checkerboard sunglasses!
