Stage One

It is Stage One of Le Tour de France this morning. I got up early, turned on the telly. Watched the first fifteen minutes, decided I'd rather take advantage of the early morning coolness, and went for a little ride.

Rode up Fletcher Parkway, nearly to the top.

In the Costco parking lot I saw again the for sale cop car. I've seen it in various places around town. I am sure you want me to document each instance, and I will attempt to do so.



I don't know if you have notice, but I find most of these pictures, even the lame ones, look much better in the large version.

The sweet aroma of donuts around the Donut Star (A Winchell's, when I was but a lad.) on Fletcher Parkway was incredibly enticing, but I resisted, and pressed on.

I saw a model airplane being flown and took a couple pics of it.

Miles for the day, around 10.5, so that makes it just over 70 miles for the week, so far.

I watched the end of Stage One, or rather, listened, as I was preparing this. Very exciting!
