No Bike Today

No, I did not ride the bike today.  I DID go to the bike store, however.  I bought me one of these.  My old ones had long vertical wear/tears parallel to the zippers.  Not the hot setup for keeping stuff in the bag.  This pannier, even on sale, cost thirty bucks more than a pair did back in the day.  I guess inflation, and it IS a bit fancier.

I also went to Target, bought a Hello Kitty case for the phone.  Apparantly I do not have a 5s iPhone. The case is just a hair too small.  Anyone need a Hello Kitty case for  a 5s iPhone?  Cheap?

And after that I went to the grocery store, where I did NOT buy guacamole this time!

Before I went to the bike store I went to the library and checked out two books.  One was Mike Carey's The Devil You Know, a mystery (I think), and the other was A Year In The Merde, by Stephen Clarke.

And before that I went to The Home Depot to get some potting soil, Velcro, and two platters, 'cause I couldn't remember which size I wanted.  And you can always use another (flower pot) platter, right?

Oh, and I rode the bike three days last week.
