Today was not rainy, so I DID ride. It was 41.0 °F this morning, which is pretty darn close to the thirties, ain't it? I wore my leg warmers, my red long-sleeve jersey, the blue jacket, my helmet liner, and the sweat-inducing Gore-tex winter gloves.
I saw a palm tree that had blown over in the BIG WINDS yesterday. Checking the stats, the biggest gust recorded was in the high twenties. I would have guessed MUCH higher. Beaufort Force 10 is where trees are uprooted. I guess one palm tree doesn't count.
I didn't wear any of that stuff except the jacket, heading home this afternoon. The temperature was around 50.0 °F, but I was chilly. I wish I had those leg warmers on!
I found a big brass combination lock over by the greek streets (see below), but it turned out to be a broken no-brand-name thing, so I tossed it.

It is not supposed to rain tomorrow, but it IS supposed to rain Thursday, maybe, and Friday and Saturday and Sunday. Is the drought over?
