There was a lot of candy wrappers, and even candy, on some of the streets. You can tell which neighborhoods have a lot of kids! I only saw one smashed pumpkin, though.
Picked up this little witch on Jefferson Ave., eventually on my way to Candy & Lemon.
Found this little lady over on Gregory St. She talks!
She says things rather like, "Don't feel bad honey, I forgot it was our Anniversary too!" and "Don't worry about taking the trash out. I can use the exercise." It's Ms. Wonderful!
She is going on the bike!
I had some success finding geocaches this morning. There were very few people out, although the few that were seemed to show up at the most inopportune times!
I found six caches, two of them were reseeks, a term I just made up. I did not find three caches, two of which were reseeks, a term I may need to rethink.
One of the caches was exactly in the four square-foot area I had searched five times before. A very excellent camouflage! I doff my beanie to you, sir!
I left my bike resting on a bush for a minute, it fell into the bush. I guess it pushed on the odometer button, because the trip odometer was reset to zero. I'm pretty sure it was up to sixty-five miles for the week, so adding the four miles after, that would almost bring it up at seventy miles for the week. At any rate, the odometer on the Schwinn is now at 7,933 miles. Sadly, that is not for the year! Nor anywhere NEAR my meager annual mileage!
The dryer and warsher are covered with bike-related junk. I shall have to move it or there will not be any clean clothes to wear next week!
