doughnuts

I made a plan last night, and I followed it through.

The plan was to go geocaching on the bike.

The sun was not quite up yet, it was chilly, I headed over to Grossmont Center to sign the log on a cache I had spotted the other day, but could not retrieve because high muggleility, and to look for another one. I found the one I was looking for, and signed the log on the other.

I saw this Altoids box and thought the searched-for cache had been muggled, but then I remembered it was not in an Altoids box.

I headed over to Alvarado Road, totally ignoring this sign, which comes a little late, as one is already over the bridge. I wanna get way over there, to Alvarado Road, on the left. There USED to be a left turn here, but not more. So one has to go around the clover-leafy to the mini-intersection... oh, just trust me, it works if there isn't any traffic. I would NEVER go this way during the regular day!

Found this still useful screwdriver on Alvarado Road. Used it later to pry apart the recalcitrant chain on Jamis.

There are a two more images of these interesting rocks and layers I saw at the 70th Street Trolley Station over on my zooomr place, and the pics are much larger, too! Just click an image to go there. Do it!

After finding and not finding some caches, and tromping the the weeds at Alvarado Creek, I headed over to where Aztec Bowl used to be. I graduated from high school there, sometime in the previous century. I grannyed up the hill towards Scripps Cottage, near which is a geocache. My daughter found it back in 2003, I thought I had better do it, too. And I did.

That was the last cache of the day, and I headed home up El Cajon Blvd. Oh, I tell a lie, I DID search for a cache along Montezuma. I did not have the coordinates, but I thought had an idea where it was. I was wrong, and upon leaving I noticed a couple in a parked car staring at me.

And going up the Boulevard, near The Tubs, you will notice, TT, I was perplexed by this. And it has dealer plates, too, to add to the perplexity.

I think the odometer is on fifty-five miles for the week, so far.

Here is a cat picture.

2009October31 misc 002

I have decided the cat will be named Hairy Sack Of Pestilence. I shall call it Cat, for short.

Here I am eating a Halloween Cookie.

And, not lastly, here I am shining the bar code reader laser into my eyes.

Oooohhh, scary!

Oh, and I almost forgotted, here is the chain I finally broke!

That link ain't never gonna link again!

And that shirt, from my first century, ain't never gonna be worn agin!

Ok, we're finished here, you can go now!

You were quite busy this day! I thought that when you look up the word "cat" you would find that the definition is "hairy sack of pestilence". I'm hungry. Waiting for John to bring home Juanita's!
