Wednesday!

Not being entirely sure which way the wind blows, I was charmed to see this nifty weather vane.



Intending to get another ten miles this morning, I went back and forth along the Lake streets.

Saw this GMC panel truck, probably a 1963 or thereabouts. And it certainly looks its age!



Is that some kind of urban camouflage paint job?

I do not know why there is foil in one rear window.

I ran across the Sleeveface movement the other day. Here is my attempt:



I Irfanview-ed it in because it was too hard to get the angles correct, all by myself. The album is King Crimson -- In The Court Of The Crimson King. The pose reflects the pain of lifting the 37-pound box of books. The last box of two pallets worth!

I had a minor success today reinstalling Photo Booth on a Macintosh, using Pacifist to extract the files from the install DVDs, since it did not seem to install using the DVD installer. So that was good!


Did I mention I got another 15 miles today? That brings me to 49 miles of commuting in three days. W00t!

The bike (Jamis) is running well, but it needs a new chain, chainwheels, and cassette. And the freehub slips sometimes, so that needs some work, probably cleaning.
