I know when I put stuff out on the street that it is usually something I'm too lazy to haul over to the dumpster behind the medical building.

But these two things looked to be in pretty good shape!

Got to just over 65 miles commuting this week!

I was sort-of-watching/listening to a PBS television show last night about the brain (it was The Music Instinct: Science and Song, you dolt!), and specifically about effect of music on the brain. They got a couple of rock musicians (Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley) , hooked one of them (Cocker) up to a cat scanner, had the other one (Hawley) played (unplugged) some music, and examined the effect on the first one's brain. Hawley played Sunday Morning, by Lou Reed and John Cale. The review in the L.A. Times said that Cocker sang along while in the MRI, but I thought it was the guitar player singing. Maybe I need a MRI scan!
