It was about 67° (all degrees Fahrenheit) when I took off this morning, just before dawn. It was 80° in the house. It's 71° outside right now, but the humidity is 81% according to the Weather Underground.

So it is a little sticky.

Nice sunrise. I was going to put "looking east", but that would be silly, wouldn't it?


There is a hole in the clouds there, you can see it a little better in the next pic.

I did the usual, riding past the dam, but on the return leg I stopped by work to see if there was any coffee.

There was not.

I miss coffee.

I passed someone on an up-grade. I am so proud!

Today's ride achieved 25 miles. I did not bring the bike computer in, so I cannot amaze you with the no-doubt stupendous average speed.

I noticed there is about a half-hour difference between my "riding" time and my "gone-away from home" time. I guess that stop lights and water breaks account for that.



I cut my hair for the summer, but on the other hand, as it were, I haven't shaved for the summer. I've started wearing my Croakies again.
