Here are those rocks I mentioned the other day, on the Fr. J. Serra path in Mission Gorge/Mission Trails Regional Park.

Ain't they pretty?
I was passed on the Jackson Drive Hill by a fellow who commented, "That's quite a little hill" I babbled, wheezily, "Yes, it's my Alpe d'Huez!"
He had no further comments.
So, that's about twenty for the day, and about twenty-two for the weak.
The Fat Cyclist expounds why he like to climb here. I believe I have made MY feelings clear in a previous post.
When braking on the Schwinn, I feel as if the headset is loose, however, when at rest and locking the front wheel then rocking the bike, no movement is detected. I remember the headset went in by hand, so I wonder if there is a slight amount of movement under braking stress that I am feeling. Maybe if I goop the headset with Loctite Red? Or did I put the bearings incorrectly, as I was warned not to by Mr. Steve the M.? Only one way to find out, and I'm am not up to it!
No flats so far, in spite of the superglued tire!

Really cool pic!
The more I look at those rocks, the more they seem Georgia O'Keefe-like.
