Nice sun rise.

And that ain't even the big version!
Waiting at an intersection, a scooter pulled up nearby, also waiting. I did not catch the brand, but it was definitely a two-stroke, one that seemed to have trouble idling, as the operator kept blipping the throttle. Ying ying ying ying ying. And it left a cloud of two-stroke smell as it took off. I used to love it, but if everyone drove one of those suckers, our pollution levels would be way up there, I bet! And it was noisy, too!
Somebody had a boo-boo at the construction zone on Fletcher Parkway!

If they could not avoid hitting the sign, could they have avoided hitting a bicyclist who was forced to ride in the lane (a 45 mph lane!)?
No cloud cover this morning, so it was a bit warmer than yesterday, but still cool.
It was actually chilly going through the gorge! And even though the gates were open, there were only a few people on the path.
Maybe they were all at Lake Murray, as there were quite a few people out running and walking. Most of them seemed to be older folks, around my age. I followed this guy for a while, but turned left up that path to exit the lake and head home again, home again, jiggity jig.

Mileage was just over 20 miles for the ride.
Found out what was making that rattling sound on Jamis!

A couple of the welds on the rack seem to have failed. I wonder if Performance will replace it? I'm sure they would. I wonder if I have the gumption to take it back? I'm sure I do not!
Later!
