I didn't wake up till seven today, but went for a Dam Ride anyway to take advantage of the morning gloom.
Going down Swallow the other day I saw one of those radar speed signs. It occurred to me that it might make a pic, but I was quite passed it by then and did not care to ride back UP the very steep hill for another approach.
Today, exactly the same thing happened, except I DID climb back up the very steep hill for another approach.

Yes, yes, it's flat here, but it's REALLY STEEP behind me!
And the rest of the ride was...I pedaled, no problems, climbed Jackson Drive in 2/2, took more pictures, none of which came out, which is kinda hard to do with digital, isn't it? One pic was a guy who zipped pass me on the Jackson Drive drip, all tucked in, with commuter bag all a-flappin'. What I got was, a shot of the curb. Shooting no hands, maybe not so good.
I got home, earled the chain, took photos of THAT. Way to many photos...
Slightly blurry this one is.

It was very difficult to catch a drop falling. Not to mention focus on it! I fail!
Gamma adjusted and color mutilated.

Doesn't this look just like the other one? What's with all that dirt?

Nudged the gamma a bit for this one. Dirt, dirt! I am ashamed!

I am increasingly annoyed with my Plews oiler. It leaks. And by leaks, I mean it seems to siphon the oil up. Maybe it it capillary action, I don't know. Anyway, it drips on the floor. I'm sure I've mentioned this before. I hate it. Here are a couple annoying pictures.

Ewwww! Oily mess!

Another twenty miles on the odometer for today, that make forty for the week.
Later!
