Another Sunny Sunday

Went for a Dam Ride this morning. Saw a bunch of CO2 cartridges in the Fletcher Hills area along a quarter mile length of the route. I picked one up, so now MY fingerprints are on it. I'm sure they were being used for some nefarious purpose, but I don't know what. (Good thing I spell checked at this point, too boo-boos!)

Lot of walkers on the Father Serra path. I was making quite good time, in the first half-hour I had 7 miles on the meter! I was all the way to the base of the Jackson Drive Hill where I stopped to rest, I mean take off my jacket, when the first hour was up and I had completed 14.4 miles. I think that's a new record. I sorta really pushed myself, and I was pretty beat going up the hill, so I dropped it down into granny granny, the 24/34 combo.

After grinding up the hill, sweating like a pig, I coasted down to the Lake and did a lap there. A goose menanced me, but I zoomed past HIM! Lots of people at the lake too, I guess the sun brings them out. It was sunny the whole ride, fortunately I put some sunblock on beforehand.

Yesterday I rode for an hour, which totalled about 10 miles.

So the weekly mileage would be around 32.44 miles, or so.

Mister Odometer reads 6,134, which doesn't mean a whole lot unless you know what it was at the beginning of the year. Let us check the log. Ahh, it was 6,046, so I have not quite gone a hundred miles this year on the Schwinn. Well, it WAS broke all that time, and now I'M broke, so there you are.
