Finally realized that I forgot to lower the front derailleur on the Schwinn when I put the new crankset on. It was about 1/2 inch too high! I think I will not have so many problems with the over-shifting now...
Also cleaned and earled same. Now I'm out of degreaser.
Also earled the chain.
Also tilted the handlebars a little more "up". Now the brake hoods should be a little closer, a little less tilted down. This is in lieu of installing, and more importantly, BUYING, a stem with a shorter "reach". Or even getting the proper size frame in the first place...

Finally caught up on "My Bicycle Musings". We got home from Stockton on Sunday at 7pm. Lovely weather we are having here. Stockton was as high as 113 but at least we had air conditioning there. Had a good time but our visit was too short. I don't think our visits could ever be long enough. Jacob was and is very sad. He misses his Momma & Boppa. Great weekend with both Landis and Tiger winning. I'm trying to remember what you wrote the day before. I think I would have pushed the woman on the bike. Got no patience in this heat and while PMSing.
