Slighty cooler

It's slightly cooler NOW, but then it's only 8:26!

Did the Dam Ride.

There has been a tool, a pair (pair?) of slip-joint pliers, sitting on a utility box near a VERY busy intersection for several days now. I first noticed it Saturday, when I walked to the library. I didn't touch it because I figured they might belong to the mechanix at the insta'lube shop nearby. But Monday they were still there when I walked to the library again. Nobody has taken it (them?). I finally stopped, picked it up and examined it. The pliers are of very poor quality, it appears to me. Probably came from the $1 store nearby. It is a sad thing when even I won't take them! I mean, I've picked up and KEPT a wrench with half the handle melted off!

I was rather energetic and managed a 14.5 mph average for 1 hour. That put me at the end of the bike path in Mission Trails/Padre Dam. I was pretty whipped! I took it easy going up the Jackson Drive hill.

The ride mileage was 21.90 and the elapsed time 1:39:13, not counting stop lights and a 30 second rest stop. Or even pausing to look at the cheap tool!
