In April 2004 I purchased a pair of Shimano M-021G cycling shoes. I've had them for over 10,000 miles (Did I do the arithmetic correctly?), and they are still going fairly strong. I'm pretty happy with them. Have not worn through the heel, like all-too-many cheap "tennis" shoes I've bought at Target. I noticed this morning, while changing shoes (and clothes) at work, that there was an extraordinary amount of lint packed inside. I thought I had better document it!
Here is what I first spotted, lint in the arch of the shoe.
I peeled back the liner to see the extent of it. Yikes!
I pulled it out a bit so YOU could see it better!
Oh noes, there is a wad of lint at the toe of the liner, too!
I don't know whatkind of that animal is, but he is looking at all the lint from one shoe!
Well, the mileage for the day was 11 miles.
