What a wonder!
I've been collecting rocks in the road for the home garden. I must look quite the dork , stopping and picking up rocks, not to mention the basket on the Jamis. Little rocks kept falling out of the basket, so I cut out a piece of cardboard and folded the sides rather neatly to form a box in the basket. Works quite well. Quiets the rock racket a bit, too! I picked up five rocks today! It's a better world, one rock at a time.
Coming home today came up behind a civilian on a girl bike who was carrying shopping bags. The light was red. I was going to make a right hand turn, but she was slowing for the light (I thought), so my brillant idea was to come up on her left, stop, then make the right turn in front of her as she waited for the light.
Oh, no, that is NOT what happened!
I came up on her left, but SHE DIDN'T STOP for the light!
Even though there was a TRUCK turning left in front of us!
I said to her, "Lady, that's a RED LIGHT!"
She said, "I know!"
She slowly rolled through the light...
I thought of this picture

Yes, I KNOW the passing-on-the-left\right-turn-thing was a bad idea.
I'm like that.
45 miles commuting this week, even though I drove one day.

Loved the Sixth Sense reference! Jacob is doing better since he's been on antibiotics for his ear infection. Today was day 2 of swim lessons. Toshi seems to be tolerating his medication but tomorrow I have to up the dose so we'll have to watch him closely for any side effects. Jack is doing ok but his skin allergies are acting up so I've increased his dose on his Benadryl to 3 times a day. Man--I feel like a drug pusher. I'm giving out meds all day. How's the P.T. going? today I slammed my right middle finger in the laundry room door. Hurt like a big dog but I don't think I'll lose a nail over it. Since transferring our miniature sunflowers---only 1 out of 3 is left. Going to go veg now.
