Saturday Morning

I got up early, for a change, for a Saturday, and rode the bike down El Cajon Blvd. to pick up a couple of geocaches, and then, of course, rode back again, for a total of just over six miles.

Then, I napped.

Later, I drove to the library to return and check out some books.  I found that they now have a self-service check in system. I had already dropped my book in the outside bin so I was not able to make use of that particular service.

I checked out A Fall From Grace, by Robert Barnard. I like his little mystery books very much, and highly recommend them.

After the library I went grocery shopping. I didn't panic or lose my temper AT ALL, you will be glad to hear.  I drove the surface streets, after last week's episode of nearly killing everyone on the freeway, of which I have not mentioned before.

I whacked the weeds when I got home. Changed the lightbulb in the bathroom fixture, and read a few pages of the book.  Then I called my mother, who apparently is not home.
