Here's the duck I saw the other day, on Jackson Drive. It was loaded on a car carrier, as you can see, but this afternoon it was sitting back on the ground.

Here's the back end of of it!

I gave some poppy seeds to the gardening class last year, yesterday I was notified they had finally sprouted. I got there a little late for the full bloom, but I think the first pic is so dramatic!

I found this 10mm socket on the way to work this morning. I'll let it go for fifty cents. No free delivery!

On the way to work I saw some guys goofing around with a camera and tripod. I thought I should take a pic, but I did not. Later I saw on the news it was the Fox fellows doing a piece on the La Mesa Centennial celebration, talking here to Mayor Art Madrid, who is apparently Mayor For Life, and why not, say I.

I stopped by the Grossmont College Bike To Work station and picked up a tee shirt. Size medium, thank you very much. The lady manning the booth recognized me from last year. I nearly fell over when my foot caught in the toe strap, THAT certainly would have been memorable! I also took a Clif Bar, flavor Chocolate Fudge Brownie, which I don't see on their web site, so perhaps I am confused. It was extremely unattractive, but oh so delicious, and best of all little pieces kept reappearing, like magic, so the fudgie goodness lasted quite a while.

A pic of me and the shirt, in the jersey Steve M. presented to me the other week, 'shopped with Sumo in front of Lake Murray.
Well, gosh, I think that is quite enough for today!

2 sockets in one month. When I cleaned out the garage a few weeks ago, I found that we have 4 socket sets! Nice t-shirt!
