I found a worm had crawled out of the bottom (through the drain holes) of my poppy-plant growing container (a plastic cup) at work. I stuck him back in the top and he dug his way back into the earth. But where did he come from?
I don't remember a worm in the dirt I put in there, although it did come from the school garden.

Oh California indeed...maybe I should move there. I've been riding the folding bike to work this week, but it's been so cold by the time I leave, I haven't been able to ride home yet. Lucky for me, it fits easily on the bus.
