It is not nearly as chilly in the morning the last couple of days.
It was not until eleven in the morning that I realized my undershirt was hanging out my shirt sleeves. Fashion faux pas!

The shifter for the front chainrings is so stiff that I cannot shift it with my thumb. It is a two-handed operation. I know not why, but it feels like the spring is getting stronger, or my thumb is getting weaker.
I have 42 miles on the bike (so far!) this week.

Oh shifting...do you have friction shifters? That used to happen to me a good deal and it drove me nuts. Sometimes, in winter especially, road dirt and salt can jam the shifting mechanism, and the problem gets worse if you're storing your bike outside for long periods of time (in rain/snow/etc). These are all considerations that finally led me to a single speed folding bike, when I finally decided it was time - no shifters and I can store it inside.
