This Week In Bicycle Commuting

I rode to work Monday, Tuesday, not Wednesday (Don't ask!!), and Thursday. I am full of hope that I will ride to work on Friday.

I found a geocache this morning that I have visited AT LEAST five times before. It was right there, practically plain as day.  I also moved my pine cone cache a few feet as it was very had to get at, seeing as the limb it is hanging on seems to dropped about three feet and had wedged it into a fence.  I think the tree is falling over!

I bought some cycling shoes at Performance today. My poor old Shimanos are about worn out. I wanted some Shimanos of comparable quality, but as usual, what is on sale is of limited sizes.  If I had size 6, I'd would have been good. I got Forte Traverse, size 47, for my big feet.  There were some extremely cute Cannondales, but in women's sizes only. Curse my big feet!

Driving over to the shop I was extremely annoyed at various auto drivers who do not know how to politely wait their turn when lanes obviously are going to merge, but instead speed up to the end of their lane and force their way in.  I tried a little power play (whatever THAT means), but I chickened out, and just fumed at the world, the world of automobile, and more specifically SUV, drivers.

I truly need to oil the chain, as I've 150 miles on the last oiling. And I STILL haven't put the new tire on that I bought a couple of weeks ago!
