I saw some tools beside Fletcher Parkway yesterday whilst riding home. It looks like someone has been working on the irrigation system. I told myself that if the tools were still there tomorrow, I would take 'em.
Well, I went for a little bike ride this Saturday morning and the tools are still there. Here's a picture, it is worth a thousand words, I'm sure.

Should I take them, or should I not? It's a quandary, all right.
I decided, no, I don't REALLY need them, I already have a fairly giant ChannelLock-type of pliers, and a wire stripper, too. So I stuck them in the green box-thing and laid the cover over it. From the unfinished looks of things, I think the workers will be back on Monday.
And I felt really good after making the decision.
While fooling around with the image this morning I figured out where the artifacts are coming from. At first I thought it was the filter type, being mislead by a Google search. But it turns out I had clicked "Set file size to: 65k" as a default. Now everything is much better!!
Rode nearly six miles this morning, up the Parkway, and around downtown. Checked out the Big Empty Space where the Post Office used to be, and where the Library is supposed to be built. Someday. The city is seriously messing up the parking/bike lane (none) on Allison Ave. It will be seriously scary during busy times. It WILL be Take The Lane time!

Good decision. The worker is probably like John and is probably going out of his mind wondering what happened to his tools. Glad you got in a ride. Did you oil your chain yet?
