Saturday

I got up really early and headed out on Jamis on a Great Geocaching Expedition to Mission Valley. I got to where the first cache was, around San Diego State, one that I've looked for before, and found I had left my cache listings at home. I was so despondent that I pedaled home and went back to bed, waking up intermittently to read Steinbeck, which I finished at five in the afternoon, during an An Prairie Home Companion repeat.

Tomorrow I have a Very Special Geocache search planned, not on the bike, though.

Five point three miles for the week. How will I ever get to ten thousand at this rate?
