Stu of Anywhere Bicycle Repair adjusted and LUBED that rear derailleur of mine. Now it works PERFECTLY! He also pumped up my tires, which were a lot lower than I thought they were. I was a little embarrassed! He was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend him highly. He comes to YOU!
I picked up some swag from the iCommute folks, including a new San Diego bike map and some official iCommute sunscreen/lip balm. I told them how much I like their bike map. They also had sunglasses and tire pressure gauges.
I got a Clif bar sample from the Clif Bar folks, and a Clif Bar 2 Mile Challenge keychain.

Now I know what to do with all those old bicycle chains I've got laying around!
The Bike MS Bay To Bay guys told me all about that ride. One of them was a geocacher, and told the other guy all about a locomotive in Tennessee that had a cache, one that he has spent many hours fruitlessly searching for.
After making the rounds, I headed south to look for some caches. There were zillions of Girl Scouts running around, crossing the bridge. It was the Council-wide Bridging Ceremony. I found my caches and headed for home.
The odometer reads 52.74 miles for the week.
