We rode over to Grossmont High School, took a turn through the parking lot, then heading over to the old neighborhood. We spotted his old house. It's still there.
We went down into El Cajon via Swallow Drive. I didn't see the turkey, though.
Down at Cuyamaca and Weld I tried to show and rode up on the sidewalk to push the pedestrian button, but the light turned green and I got caught on the wrong side by the time I got back to the street!
Lot of people over in the Dam area, out walking their dogs, their kids, and riding their bicycles.
We pumped our way up the infamous Jackson Drive hill, then once around Lake Murray. There was some sort of Teams In Training event going on. Lots of runners and walkers.
A short run along Baltimore, and we wuz back.
Après-ride pic.

I forgot exactly how many miles it was, twenty-something, but the IMPORTANT thing is our odometers were within one-tenth of a mile of each other!

Hey, that's cool that you were able to spend some time with your cousin. Does he still live her in SD? Bummer that he didn't get a chance to see the turkey! Looks like your weather was nice & sunny. It's been gloomy & windy here most of the day. Tomorrow afternoon we're off to see the Padres. Nachos here I come!
Darn, I really need to check in here more often! It was indeed a dam good ride!
