Rode around the Santee valley this morning, looking for geocaches. It was pretty cold, around 39.0 °F, and after a while my teeth were starting to chatter.

I had a, how shall I put this, somewhat gross hygiene emergency. Fortunately, I was able to find a restroom with running water. Cold running water. But the warm air blower was nice. I was sure miserable, though. And fortunately, the sun started to come out, so I felt better as I got warmer.

Somehow I managed to do the Jackson Hill in un-granny, don't ask me how. I was looking for a geocache near the top (I think I know where it is, now, but there were too many muggles around) when a group of say, ten or so cyclists came up the hill. Not all of them made the light. None of them stopped for the light, though. But some of them did say "Hi!"

Went around the lake, too. Two guys in long pants, one with up-turned drop handlebars, passed me without a word. How rude! They also did not stop for stop signs.

Found fourty-one cents in the bike lane going up the Baltimore mini-hill! And the trip'o'meter on the Schwinn says 51.54 miles for the week.

Still haven't heard anything from Performance about that chainring!
