Ahh, Santee. Home of the incredibly bike-sucky Mission Gorge Road. Six lanes of 45 mph traffic down the center of the business district. With NO bike lane, nor even bike space. One is instructed to ride on the sidewalk, with the kiddies.
Here's a cute image I ran across while looking for something else. Not Santee, but Katherine St. in El Cajon, right up near that rusty water tower with the clouds.

Saw this Hi-Rise Special bike in Santee while wandering around slightly dis-oriented.
Why, yes, I DID edit the bike to be in front of the hand truck. Great job, what?
Stopped by Mary's Donuts, had a couple, had a cup, STILL have not found the cache.
But, I DID find all seven of the caches I planned to find today.
Contrary to popular opinion, I am NOT just geocaching so I have an excuse to stop and rest. I think.
So, the old trip meter is at 70.99 miles for the week. Too bad about that last tenth!
