I didn't ride to work yesterday, as I had a training day across town and so had to drive.

HAD to!

Driving WAS amusing, though, as I wandered around Serra Mesa somewhat lost. Yes, yes, I took surface streets all the way there. Although I drove the freeway all the way back. And other than the lost part, traffic was a piece of cake both ways. But I guess lostedness would not be the traffic's fault, anyway.

I DID ride to work today, even though I had VALUABLE STUFF to carry. Like a PANTHER!

I forgot to reset the trip odometer, and I have to drive again Thursday, so this week may be a write-0ff, mileage-wise.

The steering felt kinda heavy, but I was carrying two panniers. I shifted into granny for the slightly uphill Jackson Drive part of the journey, just to keep up up the RPMs.

I mean, cadence.

On the way home I found out what was causing the heavy steering.

A rock.

Yes, a big ol' rock left in there from Saturday!



I took the rock out when I got home.

The steering should be a little better tomorrow.
