On the way I saw this sorta nifty 1949 Plymouth. It looks very like the Chrysler my great aunt had.

Whitewalls, do they still make those? I had some odd idea I was going to inherit my great aunt's car, or buy it from her estate, or something, but it never happened.
I piddled around at work processing some new materials, updating the computers, and checking stuff out (manually!) to some teachers that showed up.
Just after noon I decided to leave. On the way out I talked to some of the guys for the moment, showing them the bike headlights and telling the tale of each of the stuffed toys on the basket. I said my good-bye and pedaled off.
At the driveway entrance I waited for a car to pass from the right, then I started to make a left. Whoops, someone was coming from the left! I had to brake to a stop, they swerved around me. That was close!
I don't know why I didn't see them. I COULD blame the pickup truck parked to my left for blocking the view, but really, it was my own fault.
I headed on home without getting in anyone else's way.
Another ten miles on the trip meter for the week, making thirty, I'm sure.

New boss? Sorry to hear about the cat. My first dog, Toby, had seizures. He was a quite unusual dog. Slept on the top of his doghouse like Snoopy. Unfortunately, he'd fall off his house when he'd have the seizures. Later we found out he was having them bz of a brain tumor.
