And even though it is only twenty miles, and since I was on the Schwinn, I decided to do the Rondel Ct. hill. You will remember that I calculated the grade of the hill at 11%, not all that steep, but quite steep enough! But your mileage may vary. I climbed it in the granny-granny (24-34) gear. Lactic acid-wise, I was ok, but I was breathing pretty hard by the top of the hill. I stayed seated all the way. Except when I you-know-whated.
Speaking of gears, I REALLY like this quote from Bicycle Gearing (emphasis is mine).
"But most of your normal riding will be at 10-15 mph, or maybe 14-18 as you get stronger and spin faster."I feel so much better!
I guess the mileage for the week is thirty miles, both bikes combined.
I hate to repeat the other people's content, but on the off-chance you are not reading their blogs, I offer this link to a funny youtube.com video demonstrating the latest dance craze.
I saw it on Cyclelicious, and he saw it on Bike Rumour. Love the Peugeot jerseys!

Thank you for the linky love, Squeaky.
That woman sitting on the side of the road yelling at speeders is the best.
