How is this for an interesting vehicle?
Vroom, vroom!
I don't know what this is, and Google did not help, but there are several them perched up there on the traffic signal poles.
I don't know why it is blue. I took it through the vehicle window, maybe it is tinted.
And for the railroad buffs, this is a switch stand in La Mesa, CA, near the static train display. I don't think the turnout nor the switch stand is (are?) there any more.
I copied that image from a 35mm slide, using a digital camera, back lighting the slide with a slide sorter.
Tomorrow I ride!

You should try to take a photo from the perspective of that switch stand, as closely as possible. I'd be curious what became of the rest of the items in the phot.
