It's raining keys on La Mesa Blvd.!

This wasn't here yesterday, I don't think! The good news is, they missed the telephone pole. But there is a metal sign lying on the ground.

Ok, here are some antennas I missed the other month. We see two verticals, a horizontal beam (six meters?), a vertical beam (two meters?), and an odd cross-piece thingie.

And here is the Street View of the same antennas.

Why should I carry a camera, eh?
I'll tell you why, the house next door to the antennas got t.p.ed last night. You can't get that on Google Street View!

On the other hand, a few houses away, no one was awake when I went by this morning, but Google Street View captures the man working on (near) his interesting vehicles.

An old truck and an old car under wraps. So it's a little blurry?
Oh, the Google label. I learned how to cut'n'paste in Irfanview today! A big DUH for me!
In the course of fooling around with those Street Views, I ran across this one. Lots of action. I like the Coca-Cola truck, and you can see the shadow of the Google camera car. You can type in the link on the picture to view the whole scene. good luck with THAT!

The odometer is up to sixty eight miles, so far, today. Maybe I'll ride up to the library later on.
Maybe I won't.
