I finally picked up the Supra Max sitting on the side of the road.

But what shall I do with it?
And I ran across Jacques-Yves Cousteau holding a rock.

No, no, it's just me, holding the big rock I picked up today.
Some goof was parked in the bike lane. Some people!

People should have the common courtesy to break down somewhere other than the bike lane!
That was about it for today. There's about 57 miles on the Jamis odometer for the week. That plus last week's means I need to oil the chain.
Now, YESTERDAY, I took a couple rather poor antenna picks.
This one is HUGE, so you can see the wire antennas.

This one doesn't look any better HUGE, so it is not.

Back to TODAY!
Steve the L. was sharing the wonders of Brave Soldier road rash ointment. Looks like it might be good stuff, but it's ten bucks a tube! I've an aloe vera plant, maybe I can just strap IT to the bike rack?
Steve the L. was yaking on the telephone with the sufferer of said road rash. They were discussing the Alpine Challenge. Steve the L. was extolling the merits of triples. I told him triples were for girls.
We also read Dealing With Road Rash at VeloNews in the Ask the Doctor column. I'm not sure I want to carry maxi-pads and panty hose around with me on the bike, though.
Well, I must go research something. Later!
