Then pendulous me, the great vacilator, made the decision.
I'm going for a bike ride!
I chose a different path today, poosibly the one less traveled. I headed towards Avocado via Casa de Oro. You can see the route here. I didn't take a map, or I might have gone a different way. I would recommend taking a map when one is wandering about in unfamiliar places.
But it's all good!
It was kind of steep in a couple of places (Mt. Helix, eh?) and I had to shift down to granny and stand up, too. There was a policia helicopter circling overhead, too. Later I saw several Sheriff's vehicles down a side road. What's up on a Sunday morning?
But it's all good!
Coming back on Fuerte was a thrill. It's narrow, with ditches on the sides a goodly portion of the way. Deepish ditches. Traffic moves quickly, but on a Sunday morning there isn't so much of it.
But it's all good!
I got home, oiled the chain, and took a picture of the odometer just for you!

According to the route at Bikely, it was 13.1 miles (21.1 km) with 1,036 feet of climbing and 1,039 feet of descending. Once again, I end up in the hole!
Mileage for the two weeks is 74.06 miles. Probably 56 miles for this week.
I reset the odometer.....NOW!

Once, I looked at my trip meter as I was riding by Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, here in Denver. It read 6.66.
A priest walked out, as I rode by, and I almost asked him for forgiveness!
