There's a big hole where the ol' library was, where the new police station is gonna be.

The layers of soil exposed, probably never having seen the light in zillions of years. One is humbled...
And then, over a pile of dirt from said hole, is a rainbow!

I dropped off Coben's Hold Tight at the library, leaning the bike against the fancy bench.

See the purty second headlight? Now the bike is balanced! (But it's not hooked up yet.)
A rainbow, the trolley, and the flag, all in one picture!
I title it, "Do Not Enter".

By the time I got home it had sprinkled on and off a few times. Then one of those invisible clouds came by and gave a bit of a shower.
It's perfectly sunny, and yet it is raining! Always a wonder!

Turned on the flash to capture the raindrops. Ain't I technical?
The cat with no tail does not approve of the rain.

To amuse myself during the rain, I play a game.
And thus I die, on level 91 of Desktop Tower Defense.

Just over four miles today, that would be just over four miles for the week! Wow!

We spent T. day with Diane, Bob & the Brown's at the San Diego Women's Club for turkey dinner. Afterwards we went to Diane's. It was nice. No one said anything but I could tell that we all felt a bit melancholy without Will. Great pics as always. Nice job with the headlights.Tomorrow I'll be making turkey dinner. Going to take some to my friend & her husbad. Her husband just had surgery about a week ago for colon cancer...stage 3B. He's going to have chemo twice a month for 6 months. They found 2 small tumors on a routine colonoscopy. One minute he seemed to be the picture of health---body surfing & swimming. The next minute he's walking with a walker. Hopefully, he'll start to gain some of his strength back. Trying to get back on track with my emails & blogs. Finally caught up on the Fat Cyclist. I think subconsciously I've been avoiding it because I'm afraid to find out what he'll write next. Anyhoo---hope you had a good T. Day!
Dude, are those aircraft landing lights on your ride?
I am totally digging them....
