There's a spot of bike lane where the pavement keeps sinking down, just before the concrete part of a bridge. The city guys keep slopping on more asphalt periodically, but it keeps sinking down. I forgot about it the other morning, in the dark, and hit it pretty good! Almost bounced my camera right out of the basket!

It may not LOOK like much, but there is about an inch difference and it makes quite a clunk!
The olde La Mesa library is down to one wall. The new police station will go in its place.

Many fond memories of time spent there. The new liberry is in the building with the tower back there.

The mileage for the week, so far, is 49 miles.
Guess I won't need the headlight next week, what with Daylight Savings going into effect, or going out of effect, I can't remember which. Speaking of, here's an interesting letter-to-an-editor about the topic.
Be sure to vote this Tuesday, and be sure to vote YES on California Prop. 1A, the high-speed railroad proposition. You can read an EXCELLENT letter-to-an-editor HERE at the San DIego Union website. I'm talking 'bout the SECOND letter, not the first! It makes an extremely convincing argument. I'm voting YES!
