Summer Is Here?

It has been pretty warm this week, in the mid nineties.

I rode up to the top of Del Cerro to attend a end-of-the-year party, which was fabulous, by the way.

As I was leaving several people asked if I needed a ride, as it was pretty hot. I retorted, "Where were you when I was climbing UP this hill*? Going down is a piece of cake! My only decision now is, do I do the Jackson Drive dip past Lake Murray, or go around the lake to harass the dog walkers?"

*The hill was a hundred foot rise in a 1,000 foot run, which I calculate as a 10% slope. Now, that is a rough sort of average kind-of-thing, as parts of it somewhat steeper than others.

I chose to harass the dog walkers. Of which there were none. In fact, there were few of anyone, it was just too hot, I guess!

No flats today, or yesterday.
