Farthers Day Sunday

Rode the Dam Ride today, skipping the Lake Murray part.

Along Forester Creek in Santee are a lot of these plants. I don't know what they are, but we've got a little 'un in our backyard.



Saw a lot of bicyclists out there today. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. A passes a couple going up Fletcher Parkway towards Fletcher Hills. An older guy and a young woman, it looked like. I think they were at the end of their ride, as they turned off after I passed them. I got passed at the end of my ride. That was all the passing, for a change.

Why do people jaywalk in front of bicycles, when they wouldn't do it (I hope!) in front of a car? I had to ring my bell FURIOUSLY at two young ladies who crossed BLITHELY in front of me.
