Cool and calm, no problems with automobiles, pedestrians, or dog walkers.
A bit of a moonrise; the gorge making it more dramatic, the camera, less so.

Attempt II -- Not much better.

Probably should have zoomed in... I THINK that's how you get the "BIG MOON" effect.
Mission Trails Regional Park has a drinking fountain near the Interpretive Center with a faucet one can fills a water bottle with. Very handy!

A pleasant place to relax and intake some fluids.
(I apologized for the lame-o ImageShack link. Click it for the animated GIF. Ignore the Spam)

Nearby is a recreation showing how the flume from the dam to the mission would have looked, back in the day. The tinkling sound of water flowing is very soothing.

Sometimes you might spot an animal nearby...

No, that's really one of several sculptures showing typical fauna of the area.
I STILL don't know what this sign is trying to tell me. Golfcrest Drive is about a mile away from this spot on the Jackson Drive hill.

Mileage for the week was 71.55 miles, at an average of 10.22 mph with a top speed of 30.44 mph.
Ending odometer reading is 5,402 miles.

You should be thankful for dog walkers.
Dog walkers and dogs are the most reliable and inexpensive security resource in society. With their daily presence in our parks and on our nature trails, they are the eyes and ears of the community, frequently the first to discover crime and consistently a deterrent to it. We should be encouraging the presence of dog walkers and their dogs rather than implementing public policies that restrict and prohibit them.
Good Dog !!
