It rained.
I spent 10 minutes trimming branches that were sticking WAY into the bike lane this morning. My good deed...
Here is a pointless and too-large picture of that can at the bottom of the embankment (THAT'S the word I was trying to remember!) I was talking about.

It's STILL there!
But I picked up one other can today.
It wasn't raining when I headed home, but it was a little wet. But not too bad. It waited till I got home before it started up again.
Totaling the Schwinn and Jamis mileage this week, so far, it looks pretty darn close to 50.
After a glowing endorsement by Steve the M. today, I think I am definitely going with the Pro Link chain lube.
Jamis needs a bath.
Later!

I must agree with your "Pet Peeves" a few days ago. It drives me nuts when I see parents letting their kids eat stuff they are going to buy at the grocery store! My bro, his wife & my nephew have been in town since Wednesday. Lori had a conference on Friday so they came out a few days earlier. It's been a crazy time for them as they are in the process of buying a home & selling theirs. While Lori was at her conference on Fri, my bro & I took the boys to the Zoo. David & I were considering the Children's Museum but we let the 2 year old make the executive decision to go to the Zoo--even the 6 year old protested because of the prospect of rain...which by the time we got to the Zoo's parking lot it was pouring rain. We still had fun though. Today, we went to see "Speed Racer". It was ok. I liked "Iron Man" better. Me hungry. John is making a late night Taco Bell run. Yum!
