I thought there would be nothing to see, but I saw a lot of unexpected stuff.
- A car stalled in the middle of Fletcher Parkway (3 lanes).
- A car/truck accident at Mollison and Broadway (motorcycle cop talking to drivers).
- A Fox TV interview with a police office on Mollison, a few hundred feet down the road.
When I got to Santee I took a couple of pictures of The Project.
It's coming along, you can see some banks are painted green.
A crane was lifting parts for the bridge.
I did a video of the crane. It's hardly worth the trouble of looking at, though. LATER: Looks like I uploaded video w/o titles to Youtube! Fixed it!
I saw the couple with the puppy again today. Actually, they have two dogs. But the puppy is cuter!
The bike lane up Jackson Drive hill was blocked by ten cars this morning! What's up with that?
But before I took that picture I took an accidental video. Oddly enough, nothing happens. LATER: Looks like I uploaded video w/o titles to Youtube! Fixed it!
When I was done I saw 15-20 people crossing Mission Gorge Road heading towards the cars, possibly, so maybe it was overflow from some function at Mission Trails Park. Well!
I rode up to the lake and took another picture there, so you can see the controversial Yellow Jacket.

I left the bike-o-meter in the garage, so I'm guessing I rode 25 miles today, at a not too great speed. LATER: 26.44 miles in 2 hours, 2 minutes, 0 seconds. That would be 13.2 mph, correct?
