Rode the Jamis three days this week to work. Wednesday and Thursday I was a little late because the bike-o-meter clock was off by fifteen minutes.
I want a big basket on the front of the Jamis, like this Kogswell Randonneur/Porteur. But then I've always loved wicker baskets, too. But where will I put the headlight?
It's been very warm and humid all week. I must admit it was nice driving the air-conditioned vehicle on Tuesday, with the stereo blasting my best of Parliament/Funkadelic tape. This weekend is supposed to be cooler and less humid.
Should be nice on Sunday for a ride. Where will I go? Knock on wood!

Love the Kogswell randonneur/Porteu basket! So European! I'm sorry but I don't dig the wicker one. Anyway, I wouldn't think the wicker basket would as durable as the Kogswell or is it treated with something to make it last for hundreds of years? We've been lucky in Carlsbad. It's been warm but the humidity has been bearable. Nothing a few fans can't handle. No Parliament here. Been listening to Coldplay and some old U2. Time to BTF!
