Ran across this on fark.com. Bicyclists on the Monon Trail in Carmel City, which I assume is in Indiana, now have to obey speed limits or suffer official wrath. No problem for me, I rarely get over of 15mph anyway. Plus, I don't live in Indiana! Seems like resonable idea, though, with all the runners, kids, and dog walkers on these multi-use paths. Just don't call them BIKE PATHS!
Started reading Barbara Savage's Miles From Nowhere for the zillionith time. I found a copy in the free box at the library and grabbed it, even though I already have a copy.

Been trying to read The Kite Runner. Just can't get into it right now. One of my Mother's Day presents was "Do Penguins Have Knees" so I started reading that too. Last book I read was "Marley and Me". Cried. Jacob ran in the City of Encinitas 1K at Moonlight Beach on Saturday. Had a blast. He liked the idea of getting a "free" t-shirt AND he really liked getting his medal at the finish line. The medal was pretty impressive---"bronze" engraved on the back with the race name & date hung on a red, white & blue ribbon.
