Rode to the dam Sunday after laying in a fetal postion all day Saturday. But, I digress... The overgrown bike path in Santee seems to receiving some kind of maitainance. The weeds have been cut away. I wonder if they are going to re-pave it. I rode a section of it, picked up several thorns for my trouble and had to fix a flat a few miles later. I swear I heard a little hiss of air when I pulled a thorn out of the front tire too, so that will probably be flat by tomorrow!

The bikepath in Mission Gorge was rather crowed with hikers by the time I got there. I wished several a cheery "Good Morning" to let them know I was about to swoop past them at a blistering 10 miles an hour.

Climbed the Jackson hill in second-not-granny, with some huffing and puffing.

Lots of people at Lake Murray too. Two ladies walking a dog made a U-turn right in front of me without looking. One of them said "Sorry", I just grunted at her. Good thing I was going slow!

Fetal position? Did your front tire get a flat? BTW-read your other blog--ditto on the littering! I don't think banning people from smoking at the beach or beach parking lots are going to help but fining people who litter, as Jacob would say, "People who leave garbage are bad". Time to get washed up. How was your day off?
