Tuesday The Better

There was an extraordinarily beautiful cloud in the eastern sky, just before dawn. I didn't get a picture of it, there were too many power lines. By the time I got to a clear area, it was too late. The light had changed in five minutes, it was nothing special by then.

Saw a nifty old Cadillac, if by old we mean the 60s... Sadly, since Zooomr, and or OpenID, is not working, at least not together, you do not get to see it at this time.

Oh, what the heck, I'll put it in the Blogger pics for the nonce.



I think it is a 1963 or 64 Cadillac Coupe.

Someone is going to be out of uniform today!

It wasn't quite as warm as yesterday, for which we are all thankful.

Steve the L. was telling me about yesterday. He and a friend were riding home from their cycling ride, when his friend was hit by an automobile. This was in Santee, near Prospect and Fanita. He didn't break any bones, but he lost a fair patch of skin, and spent some time in the emergency room. His bike was totaled. Parts of his helmet were stuck in his head. The auto lost a windshield. The reported cause of the accident was the auto driver blinded by the sun.

I'm just glad it wasn't worse.
